Art in Architecture
Located in Lausanne, Atelier Schlaepfer-Capt develops site-specific art and illuminations, as well as architectural signage.
The Studio is composed of two designers, André Schlaepfer and Guillaume Capt, both graduates from ECAL/Universitiy of Art and Design Lausanne.
Its projects are defined by a multidisciplinary approach, where each location becomes the subject of an installation that modifies, punctuates, or intensifies a particular perception of space and time.
Its installations are based on natural phenomena, through the use of traditional technics or modern technologies such as LEDs, fiber optic, or computer media.
