Suspended River

Suspended River is an installation which echoes the Flon, a river buried several decades ago to give way to the industrial neighborhood that bears the same name. Today, the area has become the cosmopolite center of the city and sees hundreds of visitors every day. The flow of passersby has replaced that of the river, which continues to run a few meters below, under the main road.
Reflecting the flow of passersby, Suspended Riverplaces the visitor in the middle of both rivers, connecting the fluvial past of the valley with the appeal of the new neighborhood. A grid of suspended mirrors of various shades reflects the movements of the street. It twirls in the wind, producing fluid ripples, like the river that flows below.
